TATTOO!!!!

Regardless if you like tattoos or not, I have wanted one since i was about 15 years old. I've always wanted a permanent example of what I believe, who I follow and a constant reminder for me to not forget it. A good friend from church took me to Sacred Heart Tattoo and I was very impressed with the facilities and staff. It was one of the most thrilling experiences of my life. I couldn't be happier with the result either! Here are some pictures that Robin took of my experience... *MAY Part II*

At the end of May, i headed to the brights lights of Kansas City with my longtime bestie Sarah http://ssmast.blogspot.com . We spent the weekend shopping, lounging by the pool and EATING! :) it was a fabulous getaway and we also got to catch up with a mutal friend while we were there. Here are some pics from our journey... We met up with a longtime friend, Sarah Ragusa, while in KC. We all three worked together at B&N during our "golden years" (LOL) and had a great time together. It was great to chat and catch up on life! :) Sar and I then found a jewel....the Sunday Farmer's Market! it was amazing!! The pool........ :) bisquits and gravy?! oh yes please!!! biggest chicken salad EVER?! i think so!

In May, my friend Becky (another horse girl :) and I ran in our first EVER half-Marathon!!!! We finished in under 3 hours when our goal was 3.5!! We were really proud to cross that finish line and slept for about 2 weeks to recover. :) Here are some pics of our day.... (FYI...I started training right after Christmas and had my ankle surgery right before Thanksgiving....Hence the big scar on my foot in the following picture :) ouch....my feet hurt!! Danny boy was very sweet and took me to Omaha at like 5:30 in the morning!! almost done!! gettin' ready...

Well, it really HAS been a long time...

Well, i'm going to try to sum up the summer in a few blogs over the next few days. We've had an AMAZING summer that was quite busy and action-packed. Overall, life in NE is GOOD! :) Hope this will help catch everyone up on our lives... *APRIL* April was a really fun month! I went to Minnesota for their HUGE horse expo with my friends from work Jen and Pam, and my horse friend Alicia and my longtime bestie Ali. :) Needless to say it was a fun-filled weekend with lots of laughs and lots horses.
