HHF - Life Adventures of the Bontrager's

well, only in NE does it snow on the first day of spring. i mean really. it was JUST starting to get green and my bulbs were starting to poke through the soil! ugh. well here's some pictures of SNOW and our galavants over the last few weeks. the strawberries and brownie-cup were our valentine's day treat :) oh well, at least next week is supposed to be in the 50's :)

So i can FINALLY see grass in my yard and i'm offically having some SPRING FEVER!! therefore, i HAD to bake, sew and create for a bit to make myself feel better and feel like spring is on it's way in while winter is on it's way out. i spent last weekend at a "craft weekend" that a friend Kaitlyn put on (AmAZING!) and that got me into my creative mood. I scrapbooked and stole ideas from other people and then applied them at good friend Sar's house earlier this week. here are some of the finished projects! :)

Well i was looking through lots of pictures and stumbled across my IRE trip photos and thought i'd share!! it doesn't seem like it was 5 years ago already! time just keeps movin' doesn't it?? well anyway, Enjoy! :)

SO.....it took me FOREVER but i finally figured out my new background for our blog!!! i really think i like it! :) what do you all think???

Well, i'm pretty much tired of all this icky weather. Don't get me wrong, i LOVE snow and cool, crisp days in the fall. However, FEET upon FEET of snow covered in yucky ice is NOT my idea of fun. Even working with horses has been more work than ever. BUT....when i was out at the barn about a month ago, i took some really cool pictures (at least i think so! :) of one of my client's horses Zorro. He's a gorgeous black Quarter horse and one of my good buds. He reminded me in even such bleak surroundings there can be beauty....he sure enjoyed the day! :) just thought i'd share my cool pictures... here ya go :) OH! and btw, did you know that "zorro" means "fox or foxy" in Spanish? Simon at the barn told me that today. i learn something new every day! :)

Well i don't think i've blogged about this before but i started making jewelry a while ago and just today picked up some fabulous finds that i HAD to come home and make into necklaces. :) thought i'd share some of the outcomes....
